yes again lying is wrong in every case. i don't think that being silent is wrong,because i've never known being silent to be a sin, but repent, if you think that there is a consequence that may harm you pray over protection and live your life according to the bible. then you wil be living righteous and holy,so then you won't have to lie because you're living by the word. hope this helps and pray.

yes lying is wrong in every case. even if you stretch the truth or hold back part of the truth. you can even lie by even being silent. don't be discouraged everyone at some point has told a lie for whatever reason. but at all cost try to tell the truth. if it happens, confess it immediately and move on.
