i did repent right away thanks for the answer. i learned from this. i dont plan on drinking again and i have forgiven myself. the lord has helped me through this. thank you

alcohol is okay, but drunkeness and addiction are not. you should feel sorry and you should repent, but that should be the end of it, the longer you withold forgiveness from yourself the more stress you put on yourself and it can boil over and you might take it out on others.
