christmas is the day we celebrate jesus birth. although their is really not a specific day of his birth the romans chose it to be that day. and all we as christian do is join in the celebration of the kings birth. and let others who don't know, why we celebrate christmas. its not about santa for that matter. its about the one who was born in a manger to save man kind. i hope this helps you.
