why has all of the christian religions begun to follow the dollar than the teachings of christ?? | |
i grew up lutheran, was taken off of the church membership because i did not give enough to the church. i started going to a methodist church and once again all i here is give to the church. i have been in rough times, but it seems as though no one in the church cares unless there is money for them. time like these i might follow my family background and follow the teachings of buddha where the christian religion should be in there teachings of peace and acceptance.

in malachi3:8 teaches those who are in christ how to give. see god himself does not need your money but by giving what belongs to him will allow the church to continue. it's like you having an apartment and you have two other living with you and they sleep there they eat there and they have light water and so forth. well to run a church you will have bills and other expenses to maintain the church. what happens after the food is gone you can't pay the bills and because you don't know how to ask for help you will eventually become homeless. so you have to do what is right, but one thing i ask don't see as giving with your understanding but the lords. after all he is your provider. so seek the kingdom of christ first and everything else shall be added on to you.

okay here we go, malachi is the old testament!!! the old testament became obsolete (in a sense). that is why we work on saturday, sundays etc. the ten commandments are now sort of a guide line into god's love, but now as a christian i have been taught that what ever i do i am saved through the power of christ. here is a little controversey i would like to throw out there. if the body is the temple why build them of stone????
