intimacy between to christian people and what is right and wrong | |
we are two people that are very much in love and are afraid of our want of intinmacy. she lost her husband 3 years ago and i have been divorced for 9 years. we found each other and have been so happy together and are trying to live a christ center relationship and would like to know the right awnser to this very important question to us!

it is hard but you can do all things thought christ jesus if she is the one for you marry her but not just for intimacy but because jesus is love so make sure ? once divorced maybe she is scare start praying together and reading your bible together and god will give you and answer in his time.

true intimacy is more than just sex! intimacy happens when you know some one very well. have you taken the time to get to know how to react when you are mad at each other? to know each others fears, desires, hopes, dreams, ministry calling ect?

i have been divorced for 10 years. as a man, it is very hard! after all, we are human. the bible tells us that we have to work out our salvation with fear and tremble. i have 3 children and i pray daily that the lord gives me the strength and courage to be a good example to them. don't lead by words but by your actions. my kids are exposed everyday to human philosophy from school that sex is ok and use a condem. but, the bible tells us that it is fornication and it is wrong! as a parent, i need to be the example not a role model. if we live what we read by god's word (the bible), then we are leading by example to others and our families. get in a church that teaches the word of god. if you have children, it is important that you find a church that is not afraid to teach and talk about the truth. it is very hard to find these days! but, there are a few and inbetween. stay away from churches, even christian faith base churches that do not preach god's word but, pep talk their sheep. by the word of the lord, we are made overcomers. pray for one another. in the meantime, pray with your mate everyday and seek his word. read the bible daily. a good book to start out with is proverbs or psalms. read a chapter or 2 everyday and pray everyday. god bless.
