eternal life?..no..eternal damnation and death?...absolutely.

actually i was younger than your kids when i started pondering about that, i terrified me and made me very anxious, i still fear the concept of "eternity" as time with no end. the best thing you can do, is to tell them that first and foremost god wouldn't do anything to torment us, and that the concept of eternity is not for us to understand right now and there are many theories that don't consider it time going on and on but a state of timelessness or "no-time" which we can't understand. just tell them that it is not time like we know it and that we have no way of knowing, we have to have faith in god.
