Catholics and Orthodox Church appear to be more historical Christian Churches than the Protestan Churches.? | |
Why are the Protestants Church so different from the Historical Christian Church? The only historical Church base on history are both the Catholic Church and Orthodox Church because they have Apostolic Succession while Protestant Churches don't have it.
Answers:
1Actually some Protestant churches do follow the Apostolic Succession, the Anglican churches, and some Lutheran churches have them.
Catholic and Orthodox are the two oldest churches, they were all one church untill about 1100 when they split into the Catholic and Orthodox churches.
The protestant churches did not come around untill the 1500 and 1600 and then most of the ones we see today in america are under a 200 years old, with new ones starting almost every day.
